  • After some theft issues with a different company that I had been with for a while, I was hesistant to trust any other service. However, after several months, my bathroom and kitchen needed a good cleaning, and the Groupon deal was too good to pass up. Having used Handy's housecleaning services 3 times now, I can say that I'm very pleased. Each cleaning professional contacted me by phone/text prior to my appointments, inquired if I had any special requests or instructions and showed up on time. I actually left my keys and wasn't even present during cleanings, but everything was spotless and smelled fantastic when I returned home. Marian is my favorite. I love the ease of the app and website for booking, making changes and options for other services. I just wish there was a way to leave public reviews for each professional so others may see (besides Yelp). You are required to sign up for a reoccuring service (the more frequent, the bigger discount you get), but these automatic appointments are easily adjusted or cancelled, depending on your schedule and preference. It only allows for "once per month" or "once every two weeks." Personally, I prefer once every three weeks, so I have to remember to manually adjust my appointments regularly. I love that Handy charges your credit card the day prior to service, which keeps it nice and simple. Even though the website states that tip is already included, I always have a little cash on hand for an extra gratuity. It's all about karma. The best part is that I was even offered 1 hour free to try out one of Handy's other services. Can't beat free, right?
