My family and I stepped inside and noticed the smoky meat aroma and saw the large crockpot full of sauce. We helped ourselves to a tiny cup and sampled it; we were sold (because even if the meat was blah, the sauce could make up for it)! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Yes, the sign outside says it's southern bbq. Yes, the people behind the counter spoke Spanish. No matter to us; they are not mutually exclusive. We sampled the beef brisket, pork and chicken. We decided on beef brisket and ribs. For sides we chose coleslaw, macaroni & cheese, bbq beans, a cornbread muffin, a slice of sweet potato pie and for the kiddo, a regular ol' hotdog and French fries. The meat came with plenty of sauce and everything else was great! We hung out while we waited for our food (about 15 min) and got our order to go. We would definitely visit here again!
