We celebrated my daughters birthday at the trampoline park. Here's how it went down...
I called in the afternoon to inquire about Tha family package. The employee was not familiar with the offered deal which is on the website. $60 for 4 one hour jumps and a pizza and appetizer. Great deal. Anyway, no reservation was needed. He said just show up. We did. When we got there we had to wait for the manager to Explaine to the employees what the package was and how to ring it up. We waited 20 minutes while he trained them. They were very nice though. They apologized also. I paid, we got our armbands and started jumping. All is good. Half an hour in I inquire how it works with the food and where do we go to eat. This was not explained when we purchased or jumps. I was told after the jump they would come get us. Okay...
Here's the timeliness that took place:
Jump from 8pm to 9 pm (told food should arrive in 10 minutes and to pick any party room)
Wait for food until 10:35pm - first pizza arrives
Wait for second pizza and two appetizers
10:50pm - talk to food service manager
10:55pm - 22nd pizza handed to me but no appetizers
11:05 pm - appetizers delivered
Now, let me say, my patience and understanding cap was on. We had people waiting at home to surprise my daughter with her cake. They had to leave before we got home. half of our guests had to leave before the food arrived. The cheese pizza was super thin, like a cracker. We ordered french fries and got one order of fries and one of mozzarella sticks. I don't know what the issue really was that night. They are new, people seemed under trained but yet everyone in a clueless way was very nice and showed a little embarrassment. I was compensated with 5 one hour passes for our inconveniences. And I will go back because OMG how much fun and they did well as far as monitoring the trampoline safety. (Even though, dare I mention, someone in our party broke his foot while jumping...it happens)
I hope this sparks some changes in the business end of the park.
One last note to the park. Your employer rang my sale incorrectly. It benefited me. I tried to tell her 3 times she undercharged me and she didn't listen or get what I was saying. I said very clearly, "you have to charge me for the other package" as she looked right at me and took no action to finish the sale. Train your employees better.
