I had an ok time. I got to sample lots of great products and ate some delicious meat-free goodness. The highlights for me were the skewers of fake meat (had it for lunch, ended up going back for a giant veggie ham for home) and the huge nanaimo bar I had for dessert. I think I was a little over-hyped for this one. I thought there would be a lot more exhibitors. The layout is absolutely terrible. I had to wander for hours to find everything. More signage and some arrows would have been helpful. Also, despite this one being spread out instead of in a straight line like Taste of Danforth or Salsa on St Clair it was one of the hardest to navigate. I dunno why, but vegetarians seem to hate getting out of the way. Seems the standard etiquette at the event is grab a sample, don't move to the side or out of the way, stand there and stare into space for 10 minutes. No consideration.
