  • I went here for the first time with friends during our lunch break. The place itself is very clean and the decor of the restaurant is very well done. When we got to Ramen Tatsu, there was a nice Japanese lady sweeping the front. We asked if they were open and she cheerfully said yes. We walked in and we were the only customers here. By the time we left, however, more people came. I ordered to tonkotsu shoyu ramen along with one of my friends. They cost $7.77. The other friend got the spicy miso, which was slightly pricier at a little over $8. The same lady we saw sweeping the front also got us our drinks and took our order. She was really friendly, smiled a lot, and even took our picture for us. Shame on me for forgetting to take a picture of my bowl of ramen, but it looked so good. I couldn't stop myself from digging right in. The broth was tasty and had just the right amount of saltiness. The noodles were good as well. I just wish there was more pork. 2 slices isn't enough for such a big serving of ramen. I'm adding Ramen Tatsu to my list of ramen spots. I like it even more because it seems it's owned and run by a family.
