  • One would think for a celebrity chef, the food would be incredible. I am telling you it was a huge disappointment and not worth the price. We ordered two salads and 2 pastas to share with our party. The pasta sauces lacked flavor of any kind. It needed some salt, fat, pepper, herbs, and spices. It just tasted like mushed veggies. The salads were delicious, though. Crisp greens and perfect amount of dressing. You don't really come to an Italian restaurant for the salads though so the disappointing pastas really were just a huge let down for the entire experience. Our server, Tim, was incredible. He was very personable, professional, and attentive. I commend him for all of his hard work for our party. As for the bartender, I didn't get his name, he could really use a lesson in personality. He was so dull and seemed inconvenienced I wanted a separate check from my manager for our two cocktails. La Strada was an incredible cocktail regardless. This place has a lot of potential with a great location, view, and ambiance but needs to work on their recipes to really invoke Italian flavors and iconic dishes.
