Situated in downtown Montreal, this new hip place opened just recently, January 2018.
They sit you at the table and the menu is right in front of you because it's literally the table cloth.
And oh man it's quite a menu. I'm assuming their specialties are: mini burgers, poutines and tatares.
Their tatares ranges from salmon to bison and anything in between (including kangourous! Yes you heard me right: kangourous from Australia!). You can then combine with 10 different spices and sauces. I tried their salmon with their kamikaze sauce and the kangourou with Jack's beef sauce (those were the recommended combinations by our lovely waiter). It was delicious! The taste and flavourness hit the right spot. No overwhelming taste of raw meat, everything is well mixed and the ingredients just works so well together.
I also tried their far west miniburger; bison meat with a BBQ sauce. It was also very good.
The prices are decent especially for something downtown.
They also have a variety of drinks to go with your meal. Again, tons of choices of cocktail to choose from. Did I mention they serve them in a mason jar?
Overall, a great and refreshing culinary experience definitely going back there. Special mention to our waiter Chris. He was very helpful and friendly.
Fun fact: Thursday ladies night (drinks 50% off) and for us guys we need to go 5 à 7 for our discount!
