  • Port Credit Athletics used to be known as Xcel Fitness. I live in Texas. Their facilities are in Canada. Somehow I ended up on their email list. I tried for ages to unsubscribe, but the list wasn't monitored and no one ever responded to my repeated unsub requests. Apparently, they shared the Xcel Fitness info with this new incarnation of the same crappy gym because back in April I received an unsolicited email from the new membership director, Cara. "WE WANT YOU BACK!!" Hello? I still live in TEXAS and you are in CANADA. I emailed her back and requested that she remove me. And today I received yet another email. "Congratulations... I am excited to let you know that your name was randomly selected and you qualify for these amazing savings." HOW ABOUT YOU PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CORRESPONDENCE AND REMOVE ME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST, CARA??!? I must reiterate my previous review: "If they can't manage to remove me from their email list after multiple requests, can you imagine the nightmare of trying to quit this gym and remove your credit card from their database?" DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION.
