  • Church Brew Works is great if you're an out-of-towner or are a Pittsburgh taking an out-of-towner out for a night. It's very cool inside, as you can probably tell from the pictures. it really is quite a stunning thing to see, but man...that's where it ends. The whole place smells bad. I don't know of what - but every time I come here, it smells gross. Like an old wash rag or something. Just unclean. The food is nothing special. It's typical middle-of-the-road bar food, if that. Beer selection is fine. I like beer, but I also enjoy a good atmosphere, and Church doesn't give that to me. Aside from the cool views inside, this place is nothing stellar. Wouldn't be upset to never come here again.
