  • I discovered this cafe when I had to kill some time in downtown Champaign while waiting for the nearby Champaign Library to open. My experience was great. The cafe is pleasant, with unique design and decorations. The barista/cashier made my visit. He was so nice and down to earth and was open to answering any questions about the menu to help me choose the drink I felt like. When I asked about their iced tea, he explained the Hippie Blend, saying it has a few herbal teas, one being chamomile. The price was cheap. I decided to try it and added peach flavor syrup for a little extra sweetness, which I don't think he charged me for. Until another customer came I had a good conversation with him and then brought my tea out to a cute little back patio. Definitely give this place a shot if you're in downtown Champaign.
