Booked on hotels.com while driving into Vegas. I wasn't happy with the added fees once i was checking in, and the front desk representative wasn't at all nice about them - in fact he was kind of combative.
Having just driven cross-country, all I wanted to do was get in the room. It took him another 15 minutes of dealing with a different situation before handing me a key, which wasn't programmed right and I had to get back in line again after riding the elevators with my luggage.
By then the dining room had shut down main service and my best option was Subway. Yikes.
On the flip side, the slots were loose which was the saving grace because getting a cocktail server was akin to Hally's comet... they come by every 75 years.
On my final day I hit the restaurant again, but was told they were out of most things on the menu (potatoes, chicken, salad, etc). Not sure why they handed out a full day menu if they could only manage brekkies.
My room was big but stank of smoke, even though it was non-smoking. The steakhouse was closed and the bars were lame. On the flip side, the gaming was fun and so were the casino staff and patrons.
This could be a gem if they polished things up just a bit more. Otherwise it was hit and miss. It lacks leadership/management.
