  • Few years later and this place has grown in business, people, and community. They kept their prices low and expanded their store to an entire room. They're still keeping up with the great hospitality and they do ALOT of popular local events I'm literally here every Saturday (much quieter than Starbucks on Eastern + more space) They still kept up their old principles such as -HALF off MONDAYS -Free starburst with purchase -Caffeine art events -Employees asking each customer for water (LOVE THAT) -Stamp card! New principles: -HALF off tea + coffee after I think 5pm on weekdays (don't quote me on the time, I think it's 5!) -More art work is hung up on the walls -OPEN until 9pm!! I think opening an hour later will support lots of college students & their late night studying habits FAV DRINKS: -Shirley temple of doom -Butter beer latte -Honey latte -Dirty chai latte BTW they can adjust your sweetness. I read that a lot of people don't like how sweet it is, so I suggest to ask for LESS or HALF sweeten. They're more than happy to do it Fun fact: I use to come here when I was in high school and now I'm about to graduate with my BS in 1 semester. I thank grouchy johns for providing me such an awesome place to just study & focus #GrouchyJohnsFan
