  • Walked in just as the croissants were coming out the oven. The friendly woman behind the counter asked if I'd ever been there (nope!) and if I wanted a croissant (yup!). She selected an almond one for me and it was still piping hot. Got it back to the office and tucked into a crispy, flaky on the outside, soft and warm on the inside croissant w/ just the right amount of almond filling to accompany, but not overpower, the pastry. Paired w/ coffee that didn't need sugar to be drinkable and it was a fine breakfast.
