When I first moved to Arizona, I needed a PCP. I checked out who took my insurance and such but couldn't get a recommendation because I didn't know anyone. I began seeing Parikh because he was close to my house. The first thing I noticed here was that no one spoke English. The receptionist barely seemed to either and would rather talk to all the loud mexican mothers in the lobby than pay attention to me. I should've left then.
I stay with him for three years. The only real reason was because I had no where else to go and didn't get sick too often. Mostly I went when I had a cold. He'd shove some antibiotics in my hand and send me away. A few times they just called a script in and didn't bother checking me out.
The receptionist who was still there until I ran screaming was always a b*tch to my family and was always mean. She had no customer service experience at all.
If you go see Dr Parikh, plan to spend the ENTIRE DAY WAITING IN A LITTLE ROOM!!!! I have literally waited for hours to see him. My wife was in tears once she had to wait so long, and I've been stuck there for over three hours with a toddler in tow!
Eventually he moved into a nicer office and got some PA person who was always nice. I eventually left and tried to take my wife with me but for some reason she still puts up with thier crap.
