| - Poor experience when we expected MUCH better. On a Thursday, there must have been 500 staff & sales reps running around and no visible organization. We had picked our car online, went in to drive and purchase with cash....should have been simple, but when we got home 5 hours later, we were baffled why it turned out to be such a negative experience. Salesman was young and obviously inadequately trained - didn't even know where the spare tire is on a Dodge Caravan - told us at the last minute that it didn't have a spare! Finally found HIS supervisor who said yes, it does. We started wondering what else it might not have! Didn't inspire confidence. After getting the cashier's check at the bank, we waited for 3 hours, looking for our salesman who kept disappearing, then asking the receptionist what we were supposed to do next....FINALLY we were sent to a finance rep., who of course tried to talk us into extended warranties, alarm systems, etc.....then after all of that was finally complete, we had to find the salesman again and were told that he would have it gassed up and cleaned. It was already clean, so not sure what the holdup was, but it was another hour after that - waiting, and not knowing what was going on. We never felt that our business was appreciated - probably because we didn't 'finance', although we paid dearly for that ($1,000 more than the advertised price) - almost more like they were "doing us a favor" by letting us buy it. We definitely won't go back, and hope we can have our warranty work (if any) done elsewhere!
