  • I went here before watching "Wicked" at the Smith Center on First Friday. It was crazy-busy but I expected it so, it was a good thing we made a reservation. Chef Beni Velazquez was there to check on the front of the house and the kitchen. I liked the ambience and the location of the restaurant (connected to an art gallery). I enjoyed everything we ordered: cubano, plantains with artichoke dip, pollo al ajillo, paella, calamari al ajillo and sliders. For dessert, we had chocolate cake with fig ice cream and donut churros. I like doughnuts and I like churros (Spanish or Mexican) but I wasn't very fond of the donut churros. It seemed undercooked, doughy and dense which are not qualities of a doughnut or a churro. That was the only flaw I found. The tapas were good, service was good so yes, I'll come back!
