| - I was super excited to try out the macarons since opening. I finally had the time to stop by this weekend with my sister. We both have heard mix reviews so we HAD to check it out. Firstly, the line was long, as expected, but the main problem we had was the service. 2 servers, no smiles, seemed like they could care less about their job. We asked where they are made and the lady said they get shipped from Switzerland?... I guess the macarons do look super pretty but is it because they come frozen? I just don't understand how you are shipping these daily. Secondly, the price was much more expensive than other macarons places (maybe to cover shipping the macarons). I've seen reviews for places like Nadege, and the most common macarons complaint is that they are not consistent. I'm not sure what's better, inconsistent macarons but made locally, or frozen, shipped and overpriced. Overall, I could not get over the passively uninterested staff and the cost... I will probably not return. Shop looks beautiful though.
