Needed a new AC/Heat Pump unit. Bought one off of them($10,800 installed) and had it installed in April 2010. They never gave me a choice what brand I wanted. The guy told me Amana was it. It broke down once in the summer mid July. So two days without AC at the hottest time of year. Stuff happens so while upset I let it slide.
Had them come out and check it in September to make sure we had heat for the winter. He told me he needed to change another part because it was faulty. Well now I am starting to have my doubts. Why does a new unit have so many problems?
We had 6 different guys out from September to January. Not one of them could find out what was wrong with my BRAND NEW UNIT. They would keep swapping out parts yet it still would not work. They never offered to give us another one until we told them to take it off the roof. They tried lying to us so we would stay with them.
We went with ACLV Heating and Cooling. They were half the price and they did a perfect job. January 11th we had the new Unit installed and it worked like a charm. For the first time this fall/winter we had heat.
Save yourself some time and money and stay far away from ARS!

Anyone else find it funny that ARS got constant negative reviews but Yelp just filters them as if they don't exist? I am starting to think that this site is getting its palms greased by some companies.
