  • My taste buds are forever altered, after having experienced the deliciousness of the Vic & Anthony's experience. The restaurant is located inside the Golden Nugget. My wife and I made reservations for 9:45. We are greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. The dining room is not very large, but it did not take away from the fact that it has a very intimate / romantic atmosphere. Perfect since the wife and I were there celebrating our 5th year wedding anniversary that night. The room is dim lit, with candles burning on every table. As we are escorted to our table, every single waiter is gretting us with "Good evening", which was a very classy touch. We are seated and served our bread basket. The bread alone was so fresh and warm. We start looking through the menu and I plan a strategy. My wife is set on the New York steak which is pretty big. I know for a fact she will not finish it. So I order the 8 oz filet mignon. That way I will eat my steak, and finish her left overs! Our waiter finally comes around and addresse's me as Mr. "my last name" the entire evening which made me feel like a big shot. My wife's New York steak is at market price for $46.50. My filet mignon went for $38.50. On the side we ordered the Au Gratin Potatoes. Let me just say that my plan worked perfectly. My wife did not finish her steak, so I got to enjoy them both. I order my filet medium, and my wife requested her's medium well. The steak's literally melted like butter with every bite. Whatever seasoning they used was simply amazing which only enhanced the flavor,. By far the best tasting steak I have ever had. I will consider it a crime for someone to come to Vegas, and n ot dine at Vic & Anthony's. The Au Gratin Potatoes were incredible as well. They were baked with cheese on top. The sides are portioned to share by the way. Very generous portions. For dessert, we ordered the croissant bread pudding. You seriously do not know what you are missing if you dont try this piece of sweetness. According to our waiter,it won the dessert of the year award. I believe it. It was too good. It is a pricey restaurant, but well worth every pennie! We will no doubt be dining here again on our next Vegas trip..
