| - NO SPOILERS in this Review!
The pre-tour logistics were hardest for us to work out, so hopefully this will help others save time.
We booked last minute tickets through halfpriceshows.com (sold in pairs). This website sells for many shows, so it was confusing if we needed to go pick up tickets an hour early to avoid losing them. We went to Royal Resort a couple hours early and found the discount ticket booth had closed at 5.
I was worried about not having access to a printer, so I called the main HVT line. They said it wasn't necessary to print anything, and that our name just had to be on the list (it was). The website said to arrive an hour early, which seemed excessive, but HVT advised to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to departure.
Being early January, there was plenty of parking in the lot, and we met in the hotel lobby.
Our tour guides Sean and Dave were enthusiastic and informative.
In the van, one drove and they other spoke to us via a mic (always appreciated for those in the back). It was a 4 row van which would seat 8 comfortably, but I've read other tour reviews that had more people. Yikes! Although they do their best to help everyone out of the van (a step and a hand), I imagine getting in and out from the back seat 5x wouldn't be fun.
Dress appropriately, as all but one stop is outdoors.
Overall it was an interesting tour. They also shared EMF's and other tools for each participant, and had well-prepared stories for each site.
