  • I am not usually one to write reviews, and as a matter of fact this is my first review on Yelp. And what comes to mind for this store is... BUYER BEWARE! I went to buy some silver wire, and the first time at the store I asked for 10ft round wire at 22 gauge, only to find out that they had given me half round once I got home. And their policy is you can return the wire once it has been cut. I though OK maybe it was a fluke and tried to buy some wire again today... HUGE mistake! This time I made sure that it was round 22 gauge wire, but then Stephanie at the shop tells me that it is $19.65 per 5 ft, pricey is what I though to myself but since I was using a groupon I did not mind that it was a little price thinking maybe the price of silver had skyrocketed since my last purchase of silver. So I ended up buy 10 ft of it and it cost me $39.30 before tax. upon returning home I decided to look up the price of sterling silver wire else and a few site priced 30.3 ft of 22 gauge wire at $80.22, meaning approximately $26 for 10 ft!!! Beadworks charged me double. (Even at Ken's in Calgary 10ft of 22 gauge was around $20) I then called to ask if maybe they had made a mistake, and they were unwilling to help, or rectify there prices. I will never be shopping at this store again, there is no reason for a business to be charging DOUBLE of other places. This store is over pricing there items by 200%. Go to Kens instead! :)
