I've stayed at just about every RCI eligible resort in Las Vegas and the Grandview is my LEAST favorite. PROS: Great rooms, comfortable king size bed, LOTS of pillows (this is a huge plus for me), nice hot tubs and pool area. CONS: Location- be prepared to pay $15 for a cab every time you want to come to or from the strip. There is no free tram here. There is transportation to the strip at $12 per person, but it's cheaper and way more convenient just to Uber. There is a full kitchen in each unit but there is no place to get groceries without a car. BIG CON: they are super pushy with the time share presentation from the moment you walk through the door. Upon check in they send you to a separate desk to "get a parking pass" but really you're getting signed up for a timeshare presentation. We signed up for a time just to get out of there, then got roped into leaving a $20 deposit. My husband decided it wasn't worth a full afternoon of our short vacation and they could just keep the $20- Grandview proceeded to call his cell phone, leave notes, call the room several times a day and slide papers under the door EVERY DAY WE WERE THERE. It's hard to feel relaxed and welcome at a resort you feel like you have to sneak in and out of because they're harassing you about a time share presentation. All the RCI resorts or guilty of this on some level, but Grandview doesn't take no for an answer.
