My brother and I went in and unlike the other tea shops they do not seat you or serve you themselves. It's more like a fast food ordering system than a dining place. We had to order at the counter, pay first, then pick up our food. I'm not saying that there's something wrong with that but an explanation would have helped since we waited at our table trying to grab their attention for a while.
Another issue is that the staff does not seem to speak English. They don't give good service to those who don't speak mandarin and can't seem to understand their own menu when asked questions about it. Perhaps this is because the hot meal system is new and they haven't gotten used to it, but as professionals they should know their menu at least.
The food though is pretty good. We had the sphagetti and meat sauce, the pork on rice and the deep fried oyster mushrooms. The sphagetti sauce is catered to an Asian palette, and the minced pork on rice had some flavors of dried shrimp or shrimp paste in it. Both were quite good. Our favourite of the night was the oyster mushroom. The mushrooms were quite big and a good serving for the $5 it was priced at. They looked to be oyster mushrooms cut in half then battered and deep fried. The drinks are quite good, but on the sweet side. I would recommend ordering it with 30% sugar.
