CenturyLink is its own special circle of hell. The customers know it, and I suspect the agents know it. Last time I went in was to return our modem after we moved and were finally able to switch to Cox. Stood there 15 minutes. The two agents on duty were both sitting there with customers who were each on their cell phones tearing someone at headquarters a new one over some problem with their service. A month later I find out they didn't credit the return (despite issuing a receipt) and tried to bill us for an extra month after we called to disconnect service. If you have a choice in internet service--go with the cable company.
