  • Dr. Mokhashi performed my overdue colonoscopy. He removed one tubular adenoma, commonly referred to as "precancerous" or "premalignant" polyp meaning it wasn't cancerous but if left unattended it could become such. My previous colonoscopy had been done in California before I moved and I did not have any issues. I was told I would not need another colonoscopy for 7 to 8 years. Though, this time, I was a bit surprised to find I had a polyp, I could not have been more pleased with the care and thoroughness of treatment I received from Dr. Mokhashi and his assistant. Both were all I could ask for and attentive as one would expect...and I am very particular about medical care. And one last point, there are two types of preparations--one is covered by insurance and the other is not. The old style is grueling to do and can wipe you out through the night before. The one you probably have to pay for is worth every penny and is a much simpler process. Ask about both. Do the simpler and easier of the two. Cost was about $85 and worth every penny. It has been my greatest challenge since moving to Arizona six years ago which is why I did not have my most recent colonoscopy until about 9 years after the first. Whatever you do, do not wait to take care of this very important healthcare matter. PS. I am sorry for the person of the previous review. My experience was a complete and opposite 180 from hers.
