| - I took my 2010 Camaro SS into the shop for a few reasons.
Backstory:
My car had an AC problem back in June of 2017. I took it in for Alonzo and his team to fix. Alonzo was very good at his job. I took it home and the AC worked just fine. I then got in an accident, and had the collision center fix it, and they where pleasant again. After all that I started having so many different problems. I'm not stupid when it comes to cars, but there are thousands and millions better then me in this field. I know enough about to know that when you fix the front of the car, you should be able to find more issues. Apparently the power steering rack was bad a day after I take it out the shop. I took it back again and they replaced the power steering rack.
Backstory over.
Less then a year later, the AC doesn't work, power steering makes a noise and the body shop work is falling apart.
Allow me to explain...
My SS insignia fell off. It was tacky glued to the grill. Cheap easy way to fix a problem. AC doesn't work. I didn't use the AC for a while because the weather in AZ is beautiful. So in total, I probably didn't use the AC for more then 5,000 miles maybe even closer to 3,000. Long story short, really no miles where put into this AC fix. No the power steering rack was put in around late February. It is June and it makes noises when I'm accelerating while switching lanes or turning at a light.
I tried calling the service department and talking to the service director about the work being done and the lady who answered said she leave a message for him. I wait about a whole work week, no call. So me, a little bit frustrated, call and Gabe answered the phone and I explain the situation. Again, no call. So I finally get a hold of Daniel Sanchez, and boy, he's even more stupid then anyone I have ever met. We set up an appointment for 10 today, I get there to drop off my car and...I lost brain cells. He first asked me if I was going to leave the car at the shop. My response was "are you going to fix it." Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you kind of have to have the car to diagnose it right? That's a dumb question. I don't have time for dumb questions when I'm sweating my balls of in the 110 degree heat. He then sent out Tim. Tim could probably write a fiction book. He lied straight to my brother and me and didn't crack at all. He said that the service department didn't offer loaner cars because they never did. Well, my previous two visits they offered a courtesy car. So that's a lie. On top of that, he was very rude. Now, I ask to talk to Daniel again, he said "I already talked to Daniel this is the plan we already talked about it." Well my question is how could you come up with a plan when you haven't seen the car yet. I finally got into Daniels office and he some lost IQ points from the time in the lot to the time in his office. Yes it's possible. I witnessed it today. He confirmed that Tim lied to me. Which wasn't news, just nice knowing I'm not going insane. He informed me that he doesn't remember me ever paying for the original AC fix. But, the truth is that my warranty company never received a bill. They would've paid if the bill was sent, but the service department screwed up the billing, not my fault they can't get there job done.
So now it's 1 in the afternoon, I have taken my car out of that shop and I'm going to take it somewhere that'll do the job right. If someone with a brain would like to discuss this, message me. I'm not listening to excuses, I want to know how you plan on fixing this. If I had to get, I'd say no one will even care about my issue.
