  • I am a huge hot yoga fan, and while I have been practicing for several years, I admit that I have not hopped studios that much. Until now, and passport to prana that is. My passport, my SO and I visited this studio on a Thursday evening for the 8pm Moksha Flow class. Hot "power" or "athletic" Flow is my yoga of choice, and I was expecting a good workout. Our teacher was Julia and she was very good. The class was challenging, with good flow, and a good number of Vinyasas. None of the poses were too challenging for my newish-to-yoga SO, and overall it was a great class. It was, however, pretty crowded, with a good ratio of men to women, I am guessing about 40% men. I would recommend Julia as a teacher for certain. The facilities are nice. New and very clean. Kind of tight and windey in spots, but more than adequate. When we arrived, a class had just got out and a staff member was thoroughly cleaning the studio in preparation for the next group. (Tula for example does not clean the floor between classes) The washrooms were clean as well, and the change room very large (i love having room to change!) giving lots of space to strip down. Its obvious that this studio is trying to cut down on waste, they do not have plastic water bottles for sale and no paper towels in the washroom. I like that they are encouraging yogis not to forget to bring their own reusable bottles. Everyone was extremely friendly, and there was no problem with checkin or the passport at all. Julia made sure to introduce herself to us and called us by name during class to make comments, and afterwards to thank us. She was extremely attentive and accommodating. I am only hoping all of the Moksha's provide this good of an overall experience. On to the next one!
