  • Been here quite a few times since my husband purchased a new adventurer Yamaha motorcycle last month. Before he had a very sporty bike that I refused to ride on. Now, with the new motorcycle, there is actually a place for me to sit, and you can sit up-right on the bike while it is going down the road. Although I am nowhere near as enthralled with motorcycles as my husband, I can appreciate a store such as Cycle Gear for all your motorcycling needs. The store is a good size, with walls filled with helmets, boots, and the floor has all kinds of motorcycle apparel. Really I just needed the basics, so I got a motorcycle jacket and some gloves. The gloves were on sale, and the jacket was just around $100 -- so not as bad as I had imagined it would be on my wallet. We also returned here to upgrade my husband's helmet and I got his as a hand-me-down. Probably someday I will venture to get my own helmet, but for now my husband's couple year old SHOEI will work. Staff has always been very friendly AND very helpful AND very knowledgeable about all the products. They will also offer to special order things for you and have them shipped to the store. Military discounts are available on certain items, so ask for it if you are military. I am sure I will see a whole lot more of this store as I know my husband will be riding his motorcycle for a long time to come.
