rev:text	Honestly, I thought I wrote a review already, b/c I've referred others here. December 2016 I was quoted $1,500 by Purrfect Auto on Ft. Apache, to repair my Vapor Emission leak (the whole tank apparently had to be replaced). Uh... hell no...so what do I do? Drive around with that for over a year. Not smart, but when is it a good time to drop that much on car repairs??? So when the DMV mandated I Smog my car to renew my 2018 Registration, I was struck with FEAR. Why? Because the repair I was putting off, I now had to face. I failed the Smog. I was referred to Busy Boots by the Smog check place. They claimed these guys were honest. So I went there. Met Jack. Told me he could fix my issues (there were 3 things that caused the Smog check to fail) for $492. I asked, "you can fix the Vape emission issue? Like, the leak?" He said yes and that if for whatever reason my car still wouldn't pass, he would not continue to charge me in an attempt to pass. He said that the State requires proof that I spent over $400 to repair the Smog issue after which I can get a waiver for a full year. This also meant that he wasn't going to work on the car, leaving me with surprise charges. He did provide me with a list of things I should address in the future when I can, but he quoted me $492 up front and that is exactly what I ended up paying. He did not pressure or even ask if I wanted to throw in additional repairs he listed. I was just blown away that what I was quoted was $1,000 LESS. Throw in there a free trip home and pick up from home to the shop. Then, there really are WARM COOKIES! Not just cookies, coffee, tea, sodas, iced tea, ice cream, charging stations, tables, a workstation, TV, magazines, even dog food & water for your pets!!! Plus, they're open on Saturdays. I cannot recommend them enough. They are my go-to guys. I tell everyone I meet about that them.
