We wanted to get the full Cosmo experience so we woke up early and headed to the pool. The Bamboo Pool (in our tower) was closed and we had to trek all the way across the hotel to the Boulevard Pool.
At 10am, there was a decent amount of seating available, although most of it was on elevated levels overlooking the pool and not in front of the pool itself. There's something about the set up that made me feel like I was just sunbathing on a lounge chair instead of enjoying the serenity of a pool. I'm sure others like the view overlooking the strip and the endless visual stimulation from the billboards. I just did not find it relaxing and I would've preferred to be lounging amongst the trees at the pool at Encore.
We were hungry and ordered a few items for breakfast. The food came from the adjacent Overlook Grill. My fish tacos (one hard shell and one soft tortilla) was pretty tasty.
