| - I've dined at Daisy's and have also been the recipient of a cupcake order from Daisy's, and I have nothing but good things to say about both experiences.
The location is cute and unique, and the menu is pretty big. I ate the smoked salmon omelette; husband had the pancake (yes, just one -- it was huge!) with eggs and bacon. Service was great, and all the food was fantastic as well as the OJ and coffee. The menu said the OJ was fresh-squeezed OJ, and it indeed tasted that way. The OJ was lovely!
During brunch, we decided that Daisy's should be added to our personal list of places to which we take out-of-town guests so they can be impressed with Madison.
Regarding the cupcake order: in a nutshell, the cupcakes are delicious, and Daisy's has incredible customer service. I received a cupcake order for my birthday. There was confusion surrounding the order since I personally did not have the cupcakes when I was supposed to (they sat overnight at my work's front desk, so I had them the next day). Daisy's owner, Darryl, sent me a gift certificate and letter apologizing for confusion. He went out of his way to fix this issue -- which was really only a minor issue in my opinion, since I did receive the cupcakes the following morning. I shared the cupcakes with my husband, and we loved every one of them. The cupcakes were moist and decadent, and the frosting was perfect. The best cupcake was the mocha.
Daisy's is a nice and inviting cafe, and their cupcakes make for a great birthday gift! And I give the level of service at Daisy's an A+. I definitely recommend.
