| - I probably should have known better than to book a hotel right by the freeway. For that, I'll take the blame. Other than that though, is on them. This place is pretty old and beat up. They've tried to paint it etc., but it's still pretty rough. What's the old saying, lipstick on a pig?
Not a lot of customer service, and there isn't a breakfast included. They say they have an onsite restaurant, but that's a stretch. It's a convention hotel, so that is what they're calling a restaurant. Not. We booked months in advance, and for six nights and they give us the room by the back door. So, starting at about 6:30 in the morning, we get to hear the slam of people, mostly workers getting off shift, going out that door. Literally, our door was 5 feet from the door. I guess this is the perk for being a "member". Everything is dated. Old. Beat up. Even the tv sucks. It went out and "lost signal" several times, but the worst was when it cut off the end of a movie we had stayed up late to watch. Really nice. Avoid this place if you can. There appear to be some much newer options very nearby.
