Tutto is that sad restaurant that tries to mask its sad food with table cloths and cloth napkins and those little glass candles. Most people who have tried good Italian food know not to return here. Yes we have pathetic Italian options in Madison but if you're craving Italian, get some great RP pasta and cook it at home; it'll take less time for better flavor than going to Tutto. I've been here a few times due to others' requests. I think Noodles and Co. wins. At least the pasta has never been soggy but there's nothing I've been impressed with.
I've tried pizza, pasta, and salmon. The pizza was okay, the salmon was dry, the pasta is pasta.
I remember the first time I came in here in college and ordered a pasta with chicken in it. The chicken seemed like it was that rubbery defrosted chicken with fake grill marks that Tyson has, and it's probably served in prisons and awful cafeterias. This is one of the reasons I became vegetarian.
The alcohol is a mess. Most of their martinis are Smirnoff vodka based. I went safe and went with one of their cheap red wines.
