  • This place is always hopping, and rightly so. Friendly service, affordable prices, unstinting attention to detail...what's not to love? With a huge window looking out on Yonge St., it has the easygoing cheer of a neighbourhood coffee bar with foot spas--the staff know the customers and the regulars chit-chat while getting buffed and polished. I discovered Mani Pedi when I lived a block away; now I sometimes make a special trip because it's that good. The high-end salons I've tried don't match either the work or the welcome; other places at the cheap-and-cheerful end of the spectrum fall a tad short on the cheer.
