Central Coffee Company has a super cool ambience and fabulous interior, but both my and my companion's drinks were lukewarm--the cardinal coffee sin in my book. If the drinks had been the proper temperature, I would have given Central Coffee Company four stars.
The coffee shop has that urban-hipster vibe that I LOVE which makes it a total hangout. I went on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised by the crowd. The exposed brick walls add both warmth and personality.
The menu is wonderfully extensive! The most intriguing offerings are "hot" mochas...Spicy, Inferno and Level 7. The barista didn't know what was the hot component in the higher two levels, but said that it is chipotle powder that heats up the Spicy Mocha. I wanted to try one, but decided to get my usual drink, a vanilla latte, so that I could best compare Central Coffee Company to other coffee shops. If I find myself back at Central Coffee Company, I will most definitely try a Spicy Mocha.
