I live right across the street so this has been my local Starbucks for 5+ years. I wanted to pick up a coffee for my girl friend and I and wound up leaving this location quicker than I walked in... I was "greeted" by the cashier/barista (I didn't catch her name but she was Asian with glasses 5:15pm) with a smug tone in her voice & dirty look on her face. She had a sh!t attitude while informing me that they didn't have gingerbread syrup. Which is fine! I just had to make a call and see what my friend wanted next. I stepped aside, let the person behind me check out & dialed my friend. When my girlfriend told me she wanted a caramel brule instead, I reiterated it out loud over the phone to her. The smug barista over heard me and shouted out that they didn't have that either but again, sh!tty mannerisms! I'm far from a picky, bougie, summerlin, BMW driving, coffee snob and I was so friendly the whole time..so I'm not sure what I did to deserve her attitude. But this baristas poor personality turned me off! I don't know if santa left her coal yesterday, or if she is the new Scrooge but I'm not sure where her holiday joy was...coffee gives people energy right? Management: maybe you should make sure your employees are as chipper to their customers as your coffee makes others.
