Dealing with Republic Services has been a nightmare.
Communications between their billing department, their
customer service department, and their customer (me)
is completely inadequate. The best way to get along
with Republic Services is to have no dealings with
them at all. Trying to make sense with them may take
an emotional toll on you like it has on me. Find a
reputable company to pick up your trash. A customer
service rep would tell me one thing, and the billing dept
would not follow through. This happened repeatedly.
Their invoices do not tell what months you are being
charged for. They charged me an $85.00 start up fee
that was to be returned. They repeatedly promised to
return that fee, and they repeatedly broke their word.
