  • I was referred to Alta Vista by a really good friend. I have to say even though I have had to go there to put a few animals down (due to being 14 + years old), they have made the heart ache for my family a lot less painful! They are such compassionate people, the last time I had to put down my bull mastiff mix they were so caring during the whole process, especially Sissy, Rosa, and Dr. Mumaw! What wonderful people! They we very reassuring that the right thing was being done in the best interest of the animal and not to let him suffer. Not only were they caring and compassionate during the whole ordeal, but they did not try to push extra tests or medicine as other vets try to do just to "quick fix" the situation. 2 days after I received a beautiful card at my home expressing their sadness for my loss and had everyone sign it who was part of the euthanasia process and even called to check on my family. Sissy, Rosa, and Dr. Mumaw, thank you for all that you have done, thank you for being dedicated, caring professionals. I don't think words can ever express how appreciative my family is for all that you have done for us. Best decision that I have ever made to make Alta Vista my go to Vet!
