okay..so i was pretty harsh on this place on my last review and i felt bad considering they had only been open for a few months. it has been 5 months since i was last there and i figured it was about time i gave them another try. i'm happy to say the experience was complete 180. i don't know if they changed ownership, chef or just worked out the kinks but i'm happy. i ordered the beef pho with pretty much ever meat part(the way i like it). it was really good and was quite on par with the best pho's in charlotte. the broth was rich and flavorful. the meat was nice and tender. portions were fair. they were really generous with the noodles.
i also ordered the pork bun mi to go and by the time i got out of the shopping center i'd eaten it all. for any of you sandwich fans, this is a great sandwich especially when it's done right. and this one was done right. the french bread was nice and toasted. the pork was freshly grilled and the pickled veggies were chilled. i coudn't stop eating it. and it's only 5 bucks.
as for the the service i can't really say. there were only a few people there and it seemed like only one person was working in the front. he seemed really nice. the food was good and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. that's all i care about.
i'll definitely be back.
