I rode here only a few times. This place is a rip off. You pay 40 bucks for only 30 minutes of riding time when it is a 1 hour lesson. But the "1 hour" lesson includes tacking the horse up before the lesson and untacking and taking care of the horse after. It doesnt take 15 minutes for each of these tasks to be completed. This should be the case for beginners but for experienced riders like myself should have the option to come early to tack up and get the full hour of riding. Ive been riding for over 17 years and I know how to properly tack up and take care of a horse. I have my own horse. The owner/ trainer Kris is nice when it's just you and her talking, but one reason why I'm giving this place one star is cuz when she is teaching your lesson she will be socializing with other people in the arena DURING your lesson time. And the second reason is that I was supposed to have a job here and she even had a start day for me. The the day I'm supposed to start she then tells me that she can't hire me especially when I already put in a two weeks notice to my previous employer. She told me that she couldn't afford to hire anybody cuz she got thrown off a horse and hit her head in Tucson. This is why you don't ride a horse you dont know without wearing a helmet. So if you want to be ripped off and basically ignored during a lesson then this is your place. And she OVER charges for board and especially just to lease a horse. She charges 1000 bucks to lease and 900 for board. What a rip off. I only pay 400 for board with my current trainer.
P.S. I would recommend riding with my current trainer Jill. She is an amazing horse trainer. My horse is in full training with her. And he is doing great. She has traveled across the country and even out of the country and has won multiple national championships. Her business name is United Farms. And you get a full hour of riding at a very good price. And her leasing and board prices are great.
