I have spent a week at this resort off the beaten path of the strip. It is a well kept facility which reminded me much more of a beach destination style hotel than a vegas style hotel. But it is a timeshare and that is kewl as well.
It's a fun place to lounge around at. There is a decent casino next door (I won a few hundred bucks at craps there). Large parking lot that surrounds the entire complex with multiple trees and a city road that is on the south edge of the property providing much easier access to all of the buildings.
They had multiple bbq pits with picnic tables on grassy areas making for a fun family or group bbq set up. Definitely a great way to save a few $$$ while in Las Vegas! Very Very important IMHO.
The rooms were filled with modern décor a real sized small kitchen with all the basic items that you need (pots pans, utensils, plates, glasses, etc). The sofa and chairs were all in good repair and the room was spotless. The view (at least from the higher up rooms) was awesome! The bed was comfortable and they had all the needed accoutrements for the bathroom.
Overall it was a great place to stay, but it reminded me how slow this city gets when it's not the weekend. It's completely different, almost like a dormant volcano that blows every Friday night.
Regardless, I really enjoyed staying here, except that you are so far from everything that most people go to las vegas for! Argh!!!
