I didn't even know this place existed, which is kinda the point. I was brought here by a former Member for a mini tour of the place. The guy at the front desk didn't seem to have a problem with us wandering around even though we didn't currently have memberships. We were required to leave a name with him though.
There's lots of space, but each room is very cozy in its own way. Interesting artwork can be found on the walls. Beautiful warm finishes throughout. We wandered upstairs to hang out on the rooftop patio. Interesting view of the city from there and nice and quiet compared to the bustling club crowd on the streets below. Lots of seating available for various group sizes.
If this place was open to the public, I would rate it higher, but the membership fee is astronomical ($800 per year and $500 initiation fee). I suppose it probably wouldn't be as beautiful if it were open to just anyone, but I don't like the exclusivity of the place.
I have been invited to an artist's event here later this month. Stay tuned for my update.
