  • The good: Room is small, clean, and had basic hotel amenities - pool, free parking, free wifi, free morning breakfast. Room we had was with a mini-frig and microwave. TV reception was "iffy" but it worked. Bed is comfortable. Stayed three nights. It is right next to the Robinson Township Mall and I-376, so easy to get to. Price was a deciding factor, and priceline gave a good value for our three nights there. Staff were all pleasant and smiled when meeting them, and they did seem accommodating to most needs. Breakfast offerings were basic (apples, oranges, juice, cereal, waffles, bagels, coffee, store bought muffins, toast, milk, tea, etc.) But there is also an IHOP and COSTCO nearby, as well as other, better dining options in the mall area. Also you can walk to Kmart, if you just need something small. The bad: Hotel was being repaired during our stay and maintenance on the hotel was well behind schedule. On the last day, we got a very strong smell of turpentine in the room and saw someone outside with a caulking gun. (shrug) At least it seems they are trying to make things better. But the toilet ran continuously, even though we reported it on the first day (loss of one star) - and no one there seems to really understand how to use a broom or a vacuum cleaner. The grounds were dirty, and the same trash I noted on day one in the parking lot - didn't move for our entire stay. (Even though there was staff inside sitting idle in the lobby, with seemingly nothing to do.) Inside, it seemed hit and miss for the cleaning as well. Some parts were very well done (bathrooms & Elevators were clean and our beds were made well) while hallways and the lobby seemed to be forgotten - including the ice maker on our floor being busted, and there was trash overflowing on the floor in that room. The blanket for my bed looked like it had been splattered with paint and had a torn hole in it, so I am guessing they don't look at the bed much when they make it - or have limited replacement linen. (loss of second star) Bottom line: If I needed a room for one night, or a business layover, this would be fine. Good option if on a budget with kids and you need the mini-frig and microwave. Hotel for us was okie, since we were on a budget for this trip - and the staff were nice.
