  • Location: This is the bakery store in the Times Square plaza. You can find their shop facing the parking lot of Times Square. It has been around for years and I had failed to review this since I've been a customer. Cake selection: They have a variety of small cakes (not like your regular Chinese bakery store with hotdog buns and pineapple buns). This is your French style pastry with some Asian fusion as well. Their Ruelo cake is really good! If you love chocolate, this would be your ideal decadent, rich and creamy flavour. My fave is the cake the tastes like a FERRERO ROCHE "Hazelnut cake" because of the hazelnut filling/ chocolate flavour and also that Wafer-like crust. You can order this cake as a full size as well. All the small cake selection can be ordered full size. I've tried many different flavours. A lot of their selection is more like "MOUSSE Cakes", which I tend to enjoy more of the less creamy cake. The macarons are also good since it has some good flavours too.. but If I'm here, I usually just crave for a few different cakes. Seems like there are a lot of fans for their macaron selection. Now, only on certain days they had SOUFFLE option. I haven't been here in awhile so I'm not sure if the pastry chef is still here for the SOUFFLE. If you want to eat it, you need to order it and wait for them to make it. I think when I went there to eat the souffle, we waited about 20 mins? I've also had their high tea one afternoon. It was ...meh... nothing special. So my review here on yelp will not be based on my experience with the HIGH TEA. It wasn't that expensive but I would rather just come here for the cakes. Price: They are costly for the cake... small cake selection, and steep price. it would definitely be a treat to oneself for these cakes. Atmosphere: This has a few small tables for seating (like mostly for 2ppl). It is a small bakery shop, so don't expect a crowd of people to sit here for dining. Usually I would take my cake "TO-GO" and enjoy my food at home or to bring it to someone's house. I will still come back to this place if I was in the neighbourhood and had a sweet craving.
