My first visit. I bought a McEwan chicken pie. It was partially cooked, with instructions to put in an oven at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Pretty simple. It came out with the crust edges burnt and the centre a yellow raw stodge. I threw that away. Inside we're a couple of pieces of chicken and the bottom was uncooked dough.
Three hours later the stomach cramps started and 15 minutes later the diarrhea.
If Loblaw's frozen chicken pies are a 10, McEwan's are a 1. And you don't get sick with Loblaw's.
I will never go back to this overpriced store. I hope the food inspectors are watching it.
