| - The 2 stars are for the color. It is beautiful, very similar to the one in the picture I showed her, and she did my hair less than 24 hours after I used box color without frying it.
I cannot do 5 stars however, because everything else was terrible about this visit.et me begin by saying I bought a 45$ Groupon. She charged me $30 extra dollars because of length. My hair is a medium length, so it was fine, but let's be real, this wasn't a Groupon deal. With the PH treatment she recommended I use because I had just recently done box color, it was $90 total. I expected a lot more for $90.
I walked in, after SHE made an appointment with me only an hour prior, and she was completely overwhelmed as she double booked clients. So she wanted to "quickly" get color on me. No asking me what color I want, a brief history of my treated hair, nothing. So I inserted that if just colored my hair, she said "ok ok so we'll do a PH treatment for $15 and it's going to be $30 extra for your hair length." I said ok, and she began. DIDNT EVEN BRUSH MY HAIR!! She immediately started applying color to my just woken up tangled hair, ripping through as she sectioned off pieces. She then asked me to time my own hair and "ding her" when it was done. She was frantically trying to find someone to come in an help her, which her daughter and "assistant" ended up coming. My color was done and her assistant washed my hair. I'm 8 months pregnant. It was probably the most uncomfortable I've ever been. This girl was ripping my hair out, used scolding hot water, and offered me no foot support or anything to alleviate pressure on my back. She sent me back with no towel, my back was soaked, and I sat in my chair for literally 20 minutes waiting for someone to blow dry me while the mother was doing someone's nails, the daughter was doing a hair cut, and the assistant was seriously just standing there. Staring. At nothing. Finally I got my hair blow dried when the daughter was done cutting hair, and both the assistant and daughter blow dried my hair. I asked for a nice blow dry to give my hair some under curl and volume. I did not get that. I got 2 women brushing my FACE with a hard bristle round brush, at the same time, in opposing directions. Ouch. By the end my head was killing me and I left with color ALL OVER! My forehead, my cheeks, my hands, my arms! It was ridiculous.
I'll chalk it up to they were overwhelmed, but I will definitely not be going back. Not a single relaxing thing about that visit.
