Had Chris come out to our house to give us a quote on a new pool build. We told him our budget, he sais it wouldn't be a problem. His quote came back almost $6,000 over budget. When we questioned him about it he was very confused. They even have an special package for $20,000 less then his quote. What we were askibg for was not anything fancy. We asked him to compare the quote he sent us and the webpage special they have on their website. He said he would have it to us in an hour, a week later sends us amother quote with a message that he took things out of the original quote. Huh???? That was not what we asked you to do. He even said that he could set up a meeting with the owner Rollin and us, so we all can be on the same page. Another phone call from Chris asking why we would meet with Rollin. We said it was your suggestion and we dont think you are understanding what we are asking you to do. Chris says he understood and that he would have a new quote to us in 30 mins (Thurs, July 27th). He says he will talk to Rollin and we will schedule something for thus week. This morning we get an email from Chris that he talked it over with Rollin and his wife and since Rollin will be out of town dor all of August and part of September that they are withdrawing because they dont want the work during that time. Really?? Not very good business practice. If you didnt want the job why take the meeting im the first place and keep telling us you would get us the information we were asking for? Beware of service......
