| - If I paid full price for this hotel, I would have been royally upset, but I bid on Priceline. The pros - great service. Brian, the front desk attendant, was very helpful and accommodating. Also, it was right next to the EpiCenter in Uptown, and I could walk everywhere. The cons - the linens and pillowcases were dirty my entire stay, the elevator buttons didn't work/didn't light up, the 'rooftop' pool was really on the 2nd floor and you couldn't overlook anything because the walls were so high, had to pay for parking daily, had to pay for WIFI daily, the sink faucet NEVER gave out cold water, I thought I was going to break the shower handle - it was so flimsy! Walls were thin, kept hearing creaking and random noises outside, didn't have a 'visitor book' in my room, so I had to have a concierge read me what was an option for room service meals. Express check out didn't work. All you had to do was dial a couple of numbers - it never worked, over and over. No flat screen TVs (you would think for a posh hotel), and all décor from the 70s. Not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel - I would not stay here again, would try for the Marriott or Westin.
