| - This place is so unique and fun! I say meep a lot so I love the name, ha.
***I would give 4.5 stars if I could, I am taking half a point off for their limited coffee selection. Other than that this place is five stars all the way***
*Price: $5 to get in, play as many games as you want, stay as long as you want! They have specials different days of the week too!
*layout: The front half of the store is retail/items for sale. These items are NOT available for playing unless purchased. Back rooms are full of all kinds of games to play!! Puzzles, board games, card games, etc. lots of tables, one couch. My group found a nice room with just one table
In it so it felt like we were just hanging out at home, very private. Most tables however are not private.
*Service: service was better here than most restaurants! The worker asked us what type of game we wanted to play and helped us figure that out by asking what kind of games we have played and what kind of competition we wanted (free for all, teams, etc) He explained the rules of the game to us and was very nice. He also came back to check on us several times. We loved the game he chose for us!
*Cafe: the cafe was disappointing and the only reason I didn't dole out 5 stars. The food looked decent, but the coffee aspect was lacking. They had just a normal diner-style coffeepot (not an insulated one, so I was afraid it would be cold and didn't order any) While I appreciate the fact they offer flavored syrups to jazz up their simple coffee, I'd love to see an actual coffeeshop here, with an espresso machine. I would be in heaven lol. They are hiring for someone to revamp the café for them though so hopefully that will be part of it! They do offer a small selection of bottled beverages, such as red bull and rockstars, snapple, etc. No alcohol.
Lots of fun artwork on the walls by local artists.
This place is 30 min away from me and I still plan on going at least once a week.
