| - In August of 2012 I brought my nieces here for my niece's birthday. I did not book a full party, just a fun package for the two girls. The package I paid for was approximately $150 and it included a make-over and making a music video. The girls had a blast while we were there - they got to put on costumes, have their hair sprayed with color hair spray, and had make up applied. Then they made a "Call Me Maybe" music video. I was told at the end of the session that their DVDs (my package includes 3) would be ready for me to pick up in 6 weeks. This was problem # 1 - not at any time when I spoke with the Make Me a Star staff prior to our session did anyone tell me that it would take 6 weeks - but I figured, ok, the girls had a great time, it is what it is..I'll just have to drive ALL THE WAY BACK HERE in 6 weeks. Well - 6 weeks passed and I received no phone call. Starting in October through now, January (5 months later) I have left multiple voicemails (I can't seem to ever get through to anyone live anymore) asking for the status of my DVDs and have received NO return phone calls. Not even one. Back in October, I did get someone live once, who told me "There are a lot of Call Me Maybe videos, so I'll have to search and get back to you" - which he didn't. Sounds to me like they aren't very organized and their customer service is seriously lacking. I've just filed a complaint with the BBB as well, because what we got was not worth what we paid, especially since I have still yet to receive my DVDs. It's a shame, because otherwise I probably would've rated the place 3-4 stars.
